MARIO Marconi and Lisa Appleton have avoided eviction from this year's series of Big Brother.

Mario, aged 43, and Lisa, aged 40, both from Latchford, won a public vote to stay on the hit Channel 4 show another week.

Liverpudlian Stephanie McMichael became the first contestant to incur the public's wrath - having failed to convince housemates she was Mario's partner in a secret task set by Big Brother last weekend.

The 19-year-old maths and economics student received 43 per cent of the public vote.

Stephanie had declared that she wanted to be the most famous housemate ever.

The teenager appeared on TV at the age of 13 in Popstars: The Rivals, only to be booted off the show when producers discovered she lied about her age.

Do you think Mario and Lisa deserved to stay? Leave your comments here.

I only just found out Mario was my cousin when my mum rang from Elmstreet Studios on the first night. Mario deserves to win, he seems to be the best character on the show!!!!

Is this for real? How many tired people watch this moronic idiocy.
Sad,sad people. If this is meant to be entertainment then I thank my God I no longer live in Brown's Britain. Sad, sad, sad.

The only sad thing is you - claiming that Big Brother is moronic and telling people to get a life while reading a story about it and showing enough interest to post your comments on the matter. Hypocrite.

What a pair of fakes Mario who cant use his own name! Lisa who used to work the door where I worked mutton dressed as lamb.Has anyone not realised that Mario was recently on a tv programme called `Brits behind bars abroad`? He was in prison in the Arizona desert saying that he was a street fighter, along with other hard men who spent a few weeks in one of the hardest prisons in the world. They all was shown up for what the were fakes!

If I have to hear about his "Man Management Skils" and his " Knowledge of Health and Safety" I swear I will put the TV through, his little tantrum with Darnel over the music task was laughable - he might as well have started is rant with "lest get me some air time"

If he is that skilled in "Man Management" get him out to negotiate with the Shell tanker drivers then maybe I can fill my car up. As for Lisa, Lisa who??? the only time I have heard her speak is to "yes Mario" "no Mario" - the worlds biggest lap dog
