A TAKEAWAY coffee shop is set to open in a village in Warrington.
Work is currently under way to prepare for the opening of the coffee shop which will be based inside the Sports Pavilion in Stretton.
Obsolete fixtures and machinery are being removed to prepare for the new arrival.
An internal fitout and installation of new equipment will then be carried out, with the project expected to take between four and five weeks.
The takeaway coffee shop, which will be known as The Pavilion, will serve coffee, ice cream, snacks, and tea.
The team from Petwerspear Green Trust, a charity who tend to parkland and sports facilities across Stretton and Appleton, announced the news on Facebook last night, Monday.
Positive feedback has already started to flood in, with residents saying it is a ‘brilliant idea’ and ‘great news’.
